ECB Level 2 & Lead Coach

George Cates is the current coach on the Walton Women's team and Head of Juniors. George has coached on a number of Love Cricket courses since 2015. As well as being long standing member and coach at Walton CC, George is now an ECB Level 2 qualified coach. He will be heading up our Team this August.

He's our founder and creator of this beautiful website ;) while Jamie has now a full-time job in the city, they can't keep him away from Love Cricket!

NICK CHRISTIE

Lead Coach

Nick is a former Walton and St George's College 1st XI batsman, who has been a big part of the Love Cricket team since the very beginning. In his summer breaks from the University of Birmingham, he loves getting back in the mix!

HARRY PALMER

Assistant Coach

Once a youngster attending Love Cricket 1 way back in 2011, Harry is now a senior member of the club and applies his trade as an opening bowler and lower order batter. Harry has helped coach at a number of Love Cricket camps now, and will be working alongside George and Jamie in August.
